• It is commonly placed after the cutter. As the name states its main purpose is to remove the floatable material like PP and paper particles to be segregated from the flux. The equipment is fabricated using non corrosive SS 304 material. Its main purpose is to wash the flakes properly and remove floatable material which is feeded from the cutter. Machinery consists of agitator, drums and conveyor system as a full Gravity separator unit. Pet flakes will sink due to their low specific gravity and labels, PP/PE plastic caps will float.
